A long life can never be a blessing because the person who lives for more than ninety-five years has definitely suffer and seen more hardships in life as compared to other people and he or she have to stay with it and have to deal with that pain and suffering till the end . So its better to die with peace and to end the sufferings of life rather than fighting it lifelong.
And hence long life can never be a blessing.
