Suppose you have to divide a number by 5, 25 or 125....

For dividing by 5,

=> Multiply the given number by 2 and put decimal leaving 1 digit from right.

Example :- 33/5 Multiply 33 by 2 and put decimal leaving 1 digit from right.

=> 6.6
____________________________

For dividing by 25,

=> Multiply the given number by 4 and put decimal leaving 2 digits from right.

Example :- 149 / 25

149 × 4 = 596

Required number = 5.96

____________________________

For dividing by 125,

=> Multiply the given number by 8 and put decimal leaving 3 digits from right.

Example :- 649 / 125

649 × 8 = 5192

Required number = 5.192
