Hey dear,
Here is the answer you were looking for:
(i) \frac{2}{5} + ( - \frac{3}{8} ) + \frac{4}{5} + \frac{7}{8} - \frac{2}{3} - 2 \\ \\ = \frac{2}{5} - \frac{3}{8} + \frac{4}{5} + \frac{7}{8} - \frac{2}{3} - \frac{2}{1}

Taking LCM of 5, 3 and 8 we get 120.

So,

 = \frac{2 \times 24 - 3 \times 15 + 4 \times 24 + 7 \times 15 - 2 \times 40 - 2 \times 120}{120} \\ \\ = \frac{48 - 45 + 96 + 105 - 80 - 240}{120} \\ \\ = \frac{48 + 96 + 105 - 45 - 80 - 240}{120} \\ \\ = \frac{249 - 365}{120} \\ \\ = - \frac{116}{120} \\ \\ = -\frac{29}{30}

Hope this helps!!
