- normal ship is the one which floats on water whereas the submarine is the one which goes under the water i.e inside the sea.
- normal ship is generally used for travelling, trade,etc... (sometimes it can also be used during wars)
- whereas the submarine is mainly used during wars. it is used to see what is happening above the sea by being under the water with the help of a periscope present in it.
