(5/3)^-5 ×(5/3)^-11=(5/3)^8x
(5/3)^-5-11=(5/3)^8x
(5/3)^-16=(5/3)^8x
8x=-16
x= -16/8=-2
hope it's helps

the answer is -2.
Since the bases(i.e 5/3) are equal and (5/3)^-5 is multiplied with (5/3)^-11, the exponents will get added , this means it will become (5/3)^{(-5)+(-11)}=(5/3)^-16,
now the bases on the left hand and right hand are same , so you can remove them
you will now get
-16=8x
=)x=-2
