in easy manner do find area of rectangle and triangle first and add them you will get area of trapazium,so we need third side of triangle ,by Pythagoras theorem,

64+x^2=289

x is third side of triangle,

x^2=289-64=225 so x = 15 so area of ∆=1/2 base ×height=1/2×8×15=60,

then area of rectangle =length ×breadth=15×6=90.

so area of trapazium =area of ∆+area of rectangle=60+90=150cm ^2
