Hiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii.... mate.....

Velocity is defined as the total distance per unit time.

Some examples : 1. The velocity of the second hand of the clock in 60seconds is 0 (Displacement is 0)

2. You go 4km east then turn and head 3 km north with a total time of 5hrs. Your velocity would be the hypotenuse formed (=5Km).   Therefore, your velocity would be 1km/hr

3.velocity of a particle moving in straight line is equal to its speed

Hope it helps....

the distance covered by a moving body in unit interval of time and in specific directions is called velocity.
it is just similar to speed but it has some direction and it is vector quantity.

for example- 3m/s in north
here we get information about speed and even 1direction
