Heyaaa mate
Here is your answer:-
◼️In his 1924 PhD thesis, de Broglieproposed that just as light has both wave-like and particle-like properties, electrons also have wave-like properties. ... He hypothesized that every matter particle had an associated wavelength given by therelation p = h λ.
◼️Matter waves are a central part of the theory of quantum mechanics, being an example of wave–particle duality. ... The concept that matter behaves like a wave was proposed by Louis de Broglie (/dəˈbrɔɪ/) in 1924. It is also referred to as the de Broglie hypothesis.
Hope it helps you
Thanks

According to Planck , photon of light having energy E is associated with a wave of frequency v as:-
E = hv______(I)
According to Einstein , mass and energy are related as:-
E = mc²_______(ii)
Combining the above two eqn..
hv = mc²
.•. v = c/lambda
so, by following this
hc/lambda = mc²
cancelling c,
h/lambda = mc
lambda = h/mc

where ,c is the velocity of light..
