Here's the Answer

{\boxed{\bold{Relationship\:Between\:E\:and\:V}}}

=>When our electric circuit is open , there's no current flowing in it. Here we use the Ohm's Law that says that

V = IR

I = \frac{V}{R}

I = \frac{E}{R}

I = \frac{E}{r+ R}

I ( r + R ) = E

Ir + IR = E

Ir + V = E

{\boxed{V = E - Ir }}

Answer:

V = E - Ir

V is potential diff.

E is EMF.

I is current

r is internal resistance
