The poet ‘Robert Frost’ reveals what he did to a bird singing in the poem “A Minor Bird’’. The poet has written the poem as the poet himself is speaking .So, it is in the first person narrative style. The poem starts with a simple description of the thing that he did to a bird singing in the garden. Finally, the poem ends with a philosophical idea that we must accept the things in nature.
One day, the speaker is at his house and hears a bird singing. The bird kept on singing for all day. He couldn’t bear it up and clapped for the bird to fly away. Then, he thinks about what he did and realizes that he has to bear up what nature has given.
Hope it helps úh
