Give mode of action of U.V. light on micro-organism and give its uses.

Ultra Violet rays are considered very harmful for the body of human beings these are radiated from the sun and can cause harmful diseases like skin cancer,

Sun burn,etc....

These gases are prevented to enter into the atmosphere of earth by ozone gas in stratosphere layer.

It is also used in purifying of water because this rays also kill harmful microorganisms from water thus making the water pure and drinkable.
