give one application of electromagnetic induction?
Answers
Q) What is electromagnetic induction ?
This is a type of force that happens in the middle of a conductor it changes the pathway through which the current flows. This electromagnetic induction was found by the great scientist Michael Faraday . He discovered electromagnetic induction in the year of 1831.
This force was mathematically proven by another great scientist James Clerk Maxwell . He gave the name of this equation as Faraday's law of induction.
Now coming to the application of electromagnetic induction. Anything that rotates like motors, washing machines generators etc use the principle of electromagnetic induction. Also transformers are a great example of the use of electromagnetic induction.
Here is the Farday's law of induction equation:
∇×→E=−∂→B∂t ∇ × E → = − ∂ B → ∂ t
- We can take example as, an electric generator produces a current because of electromagnetic induction.
