- A basic oxide which is insoluble in water .
- Acid + Base ? .
1) A basic oxide which is insoluble in water is copper(II) oxide . It does not get mixed in water due to high forces of attraction [ electrostatic ] between oxygen and Copper atoms . Another insoluble basic oxide are Magnesium Oxide & Lead(II) Oxide
2) The reacⁿ between an acid and a base is called neutralisation reaction . Acid reacts with base to give salt and water . Acid and base reacⁿ is also an example of Double Displacement reacⁿ and exothermic reaction .
