Displacement reaction is a chemical reaction in which a more reactive element displaces a less reactive element from its compound. 

Ex- Reactionof iron nails with copper sulphate solution.

ANSWER....

Those reaction in which high reactive metal displaces less reactive metal from its solution is called displacement reaction.

Example of displacement reaction :-

when magnesium reacts with copper sulphate solution then it displaces copper from its copper sulphate solution.


Mg + CuSO4 ==> MgSO4 + Cu
