The development of organ is directly proportional to it's use. The disuse of organ leads to gradual weakening of that organ. A constant use anddisuse of organ leads to its modification in form and less used structure are reduced and ultimately they get lost. For example, a blacksmith develops strong muscles of the arm due to its constant use for hammering; snakes have elongated bodies accompanied by loss of limbs due to their constant creeping through holes, etc.
