First of all there’s nothing like negative work, the negative just show the direction of motion, for example you are pushing a car in north direction but its motion is in south direction, so there is no difference in the direction of motion of car due to your force, then it’s just called negative work.
While in positive work the motion is in the same direction of the force, for example, pushing a box, you are applying the force in north direction and the motion of box is also in north direction.
In zero work there is no motion at all, even after applying force, for example, pushing a wall, there will be no change in position of wall after you apply any force on it.
