1. Combination Reaction: a chemical reaction, in which two or more substances( reactants ) combine to form a new substance( product ), is called combination reaction. For examples,
2H2 + O2 = 2H2O

2. Decomposition Reaction: a chemical reaction, in which more than one product is obtained from a single reactant, is called decomposition reaction. For example,
2H2O= 2H2 + O2.

3. Displacement Reaction: a chemical reaction, in which one element displaces another in a compound. For example,
Fe + CuSO4 = FeSO4 + Cu
