Answer:

Examples of periodic change

A pendulum swinging.

The sun rises and falls.

Modification of seasons.

Changing Moon Phases,

Heart-beating,

Clock striking an hour.

Changes which do not repeat themselves at regular intervals are callednon-periodic changes. You cannot predict when will they reoccur. Forexample, occurrence of earthquake, accidents, sneezing, rusting of iron, growing of a tree, etc.

Examples of reversible changes

Melting: Melting is when solid converts into a liquid after heating. Example of melting is turning of ice into water.

Freezing: Freezing is when a liquid converts into a solid. Example of freezing is turning of water into ice.

Boiling: Boiling is when a liquid converts into a gas.

A change is called irreversible if it cannot be changed back again. In anirreversible change, new materials are always formed. Sometimes these new materials are useful to us.
