Last year, there was a rumour about a Monkey Man doing the rounds. It was believed that an ape with sharp teeth and pointed claws was breaking into people's houses at night and attacking them. But no one was ever able to see his face clearly. The rumour was so widespread that people started staying up at night with weapons in their hands to protect themselves. No one dared to step out at night, for the fear of being attacked. The panic of the Monkey Man's attack stayed for a few weeks, before people realised that it was nothing but a rumour. Some kids had spread the fake news of the Monkey Man just to have some fun.
