⭕ Yes this is possible

  • Suppose a situation where a body is moving in a circular path. The initial point be A, now body will return back to the initial point A after completing one rotation.

  • Here displacement = 0. We know that average velocity = Total displacement/ total time. So average velocity will be zero.✔️

  • ⭕ However , since the body has covered some distance so average speed of the body will not be zero.

  • ⭕ We should keep in mind that distance covered by a body will never be zero ( total path length never decreases wrt time).✔️

  • ⭕ Also, if a body after covering some length comes back to its starting/initial point then displacement of the body becomes zero.✔️
