The diffusion of chalk in the surface of black board is an example of diffusion of solid in another solid. When we write something on a black board with a chalk and left it for sometime without erasing it. Then, we will find difficult to clean the board because the chalk particles get diffused to the surface of the black-board.
Now, we know that the particles of a solid are closely packed and cannot show movements. Due to this the particles of a solid take a long time to move from their respective place. Thus, diffusion of a solid in another solid is a very slow process.
