⭐1.  we walk due to friction our shoes rub over the ground and therefore we are able to walk steadily. If there was no friction we would simply slip over like slipping over an bannana.

⭐2.  space shuttles waste tons of fuel to overcome the friction of our atmosphere and reach the exosphere. The burning fuel leads to pollution>global warming>damage to life in poles>damge to life in other continents.
