as we know that in hypotonic solution endoosmosis takes place
it can be verified by an example
take some rasins and put them into water and cover it
leave it for 1-2hrs you will find the resins are swelled up

If the solution surrounding a cell is less concentrated than inside the cell, it is saidto be hypotonic. In a hypotonic solution, water will move from outside to the inside inside of the cell across its membrane.
