haemoglobin is the respiratory pigment. whereas alveolar sacs ensure that oxygen is released in each alveoli and haemoglobin is used for transporting oxygen in the body. it has high affinity towards it and each molecule can carry 4 molecules of oxygen

Haemoglobin is a respiratory pigment present in the human blood(RBC). It helps in transportation of oxygen to different parts of the body. Alveolar sacs are tiny sac like structures present in the lungs. These help in exchange of gases by taking oxygen inside the body and releasing the carbon dioxide from the body into the atmosphere
