Give one point of similarity between the formation of shadows and pinhole images.

Answer:

A shadow is in general black and does not give the details of the object. The image formed by a pinhole camera is colourful and contains all the details of the object. A shadow can be bigger than the object whereas the image formed by a pinhole camera is always smaller than the object.
