To save a person, if the person is in depression and anxiety, sometimes these leads to suicidal thoughts or even worse so try to motivate and encourage that person in good doings and let that person be active minded.

To save a person, if the person's health is not good. Try to keep the person stay active as much possible, treat and care the person nicely, let the person listen happy and motivational songs, just take care nicely or if it gets more serious then contact with the donor.
