He wanted to shift capital to daulathabad which is located in Maharashtra to protect his capital from foreign invasions.
one such great invader was changis Khan of Mongol. but it was not successful because of season-it was hot summer.
And two values I learnt from him were he was great ruler who had first hand knowledge in ruling kingdom.
he always wanted to secure his kingdom from foreign invasions for that he tried to shift capital and collect taxes to defend the kingdom
