At room temperature (anywhere from zero degree centigrade to 100 degrees centigrade), water is found in a liquidstate. This is because of the tiny, weak hydrogen bonds which, in their billions, hold water molecules together for small fractions of a second.

poojaoberoi: OK REMEMBER IN ANY QUES LIKE 1
poojaoberoi: WHY WATER IS A LIQUID
poojaoberoi: 2. WHY CO2 IS A GAS
poojaoberoi: 3. WHY IRON NAIL IS A SOLID
poojaoberoi: U JUST HAVE TO WRITE PROPERTIES OF THAT STATE OF MATTER'
poojaoberoi: IN QUES1 PROPERTIES OF LIQUIDS
poojaoberoi: IN 2, OF GASES
poojaoberoi: IN 3 OF SOLIDS

Hi there,
Room temperature Is assumed as 25 degrees Celsius..As water exists in room temperature in liquid state Because Boiling point of water is 100 C and Freezing is 0 C and water at mid Means at Room temperature lies in between both thus It's state is liquid in Room Temperature..

Hope this helps

darkrose111: thankyou very much
