Give one reason why multi party system has evolved in India.

India is evolved in multi party system due to usually no single party has a parliamentary majority by itself. Instead, multiple political parties form coalitions for the purpose of developing power blocks for governing.

it is because we have large diversity.there are regional,relegious,social lingustics,etc.This cannot be removed with the help of two or three parties.so india has evolved with multiparty system....
or
it helps in managing the country more effectively so that big  disputes can be solved with in shorter period of time......
