In multicellular organisms require special organs for exchange of gases because in a multicellular organisms diffusion cannot fulfill the the oxygen requirements of each cell in the body [ in human beings if oxygen is transferred with the help of diffusion it take 3 years to reach the toe ] so it special organs are required
