For the ancient and the most advanced Civilization to be sieged, plundered and laid waste by every barbaric invaders perpetually the rot in our society should have preceded it atleast by a centuries. The deformity of Bharatavarsha could be traced back to the time of Ashoka who created a wedge between Brahmanism and Buddhism.

As per Shroutha Smartha tradition, this was brought to an end by Ashoka who converted to Bauddha, transformed it into an imperial religion to avenge for being declared as Anarya at the council of Kashi for waging fratricidal war against his step brothers. Ashoka then usurped the throne from his step-brother who was a rightful heir to the empire, dismantled the treaty of Bharata replaced Ashwamedha Yajna of Krishna Yajur Veda with Rajasuya Yajna of Shukla Yajur Veda which in turn deciminated our military-industrial corridor opening up the floodgates of Bharatavarsha for invasions as invaders found rapacious warring princelings in Indo gangetic plain engaged in infighting and annexed the neighboring territory to prove their military prowess instead of being expansionists. This made them easy targets of Mleechas and succumbed to these savages which is tacit. Ashoka exposed the heads of Brahmins, destroyed and plundered Brahamanic Mandirs, dismantled Gurukula system thus bringing an end to caste-mobility, drove Sanskrit, Brahma Sutras and Vedas underground. Ashoka used Buddhist Mendicants to sniff out dissent and spy on those who practiced Brahminism and viciously eliminated them. Mahasanghika of Mahayana Buddhism who were not influenced by Ashoka's mendacity stay loyal to Buddha by exhuming through their scriptures in Sanskrit - original language of Buddhism over Pali. However Bauddha outside Bharatavarsha survived in its pristine form. P

Thanks to Ishvara, Adi Shankara whose ancestors fled to Dakshinapada revived Vedas, Sanskrit and Brahma Sutras codified Pañcāyatana by agglomerating Five Devas who were considered as manifestations of Brahman, restoring Advaita Vedanta to its pristine form thereby unifying fragmented sectarians of Bharatavarsha which ensued that we do not become circumcised and fell like every other civilizations Abrahamists embarked upon and our culture isn't preserved in museums. Sadly 9 out of 10 Hindus wouldn't have iota of knowledge on Adi Shankara.
