In mirrors,

Concave mirror: Virtual image is formed when the object is placed between Pole(P) and focus (F).

Convex mirror: In this there are 2 cases and in both the cases virtual image if formed. Cases are

1. When object is placed at infinity.

2. At any point on principal axis.

In lens,

Convex lens: Here virtual image is formed when object is placed between optical centre and F1.

Concave lens: in this again 2 cases are there and in both of them virtual image is formed.

1. At infinity

2. Any point on principal axis.

I hope it will help u buddy.

Pls mark it as brainliest ans brother.

Answer:

In case of plane mirror, the image is erect, virtual and of same size as the object. ... Give one situation where a virtual image is formed.

The image which cannot be obtained on a screen is called virtual image. For example, virtual image is always formed in case of plane mirror and convex mirror.

A virtual image is formed when reflected rays appear to meet. Such images cannot be obtained on screen. Plane mirrors, convex mirror and concave lens always forms virtual image.
