Prokaryotic cells are the cells without membrane bound nucleus.

Explanation:

These cells have no proper nucleus or other cell organelles. The organisms which have prokaryotic cells are known as unicellular organisms. The examples of prokaryotes or unicellular organisms are bacteria, archaea etc. The prokaryotic cells have nucleoid, plasmid in the cell. The gene is located in a structure which is called nucleoid. A plasmid is a DND structure which is separated from the chromosomes.
