The key difference between amortization and depreciation is that amortization charges off the cost of an intangible asset, while depreciation does so for a tangible asset..

hey there this is your answer...!!!

Depreciation is a technique used measure the decrease in the value of the asset due to age, wear and tear or any other technical reason. Amortization is a method of allocating the depreciable amount over the life of the intangible fixed asset. Non-current Tangible Asset like machinery, vehicle, computers etc.
