Area of rectangle= lenght ×breadth

So, clearly lenght and breadth will be the factor of Area

35y²+13y-12
35y²+28y-15y-12
7y(5y+4)-3(5y+4)
(7y-3)(5y+4)

Hence (7y-3)and (5y+4) are the lenght breadth of the rectangle.

Given Area:

35y²+13y-12

To Find :

Length and Breadth

Solution :

Factorising 35y²+13y-12

[By mid term spilting]

35y²+13y-12

35y²+28y-25y-12

7y(5y+4)-3(5y+4)

(5y+4) (7y-3)

Length = 7y-3

Breadth = 5y+4
