The properties of liquid are :

1. Liquids are almost incompressible. In liquids molecules are pretty close to each other.
2. Liquids have fixed volume but no fixed shape.
3. Liquids flow from higher to lower level.

The properties of gases are :

1. Gases have no definite shape or volume.
2. Compressibility and Expandability.
3. Diffusivity.

solid has very tightly packed particles, it do not compressed easily , it has not space between their particles , it has a fixed shape and fixed volume ,. LIQUID particles are loosely packed compare to solid , it compressed easily , it has free space between particles , it has fixed volume but not fixed shape , . GAS particles are very very loosely packet , they compressed very easily means freely moving , they have not fixed shape or volume
