 Iron is more electropositive than copper. It can displace Copper (Cu) from its salt Copper sulphate (CuSO4) and thus its colour changes from blue to green.

ram12121212wwoxavfv: Copper Sulphate is Hygroscopic in nature meaning, if you heat it and then allow it to cool. it reabsorbs water(moisture) from the air, turning blue again.

ram12121212wwoxavfv: Cu + 2AgNO3 ---> Cu(NO3)2 + 2Ag
Anonymous: reason
ram12121212wwoxavfv: The silver nitrate is in solution and the metallic copper will dissolve to form copper nitrate; as it does so, the silver in solution will be precipitated out as metallic silver. That is, the silver in solution is exchanged for copper and the copper that is not in solution is substituted for silver.
