1) Concentrate nitric acid can be transpoted in Aluminum container.

 \longrightarrow \: Aluminium reacts with nitric acid to form Aluminium oxide on its surface which protect it from further action and hence conc. nitric acid can be transported in Aluminum container.

Reaction :

  \boxed{\sf{ \blue{ 2Al \:  +  \:  6HNO_3  \longrightarrow  \:  Al_2 O_3 \:  +  \:  6NO_2  \: + \:  3H_2 O}}}

2) Graphite is used as lubricant.

 \longrightarrow \: Graphite has a layer structure, which are held by weak vander waal forces and hence can be made to sleep one another. Therefore, graphite acts as a lubricant.

3) Explain, Why there is phenomenal decrease in ionization energy from Carbon To Silicon ?

 \longrightarrow \: Both Carbon(C) and Silicon(Si) belongs to 13th Group of Modern Periodic Table and are of p-block elements. As due to increase in atomic size and screening effect, effective nuclear charges decreases from C To Si. Thus, there is a phenomenal decrease in ionization energy of C to Si.
