1) Concentrate nitric acid can be transpoted in Aluminum container.
Aluminium reacts with nitric acid to form Aluminium oxide on its surface which protect it from further action and hence conc. nitric acid can be transported in Aluminum container.

Graphite has a layer structure, which are held by weak vander waal forces and hence can be made to sleep one another. Therefore, graphite acts as a lubricant.

Both Carbon(C) and Silicon(Si) belongs to 13th Group of Modern Periodic Table and are of p-block elements. As due to increase in atomic size and screening effect, effective nuclear charges decreases from C To Si. Thus, there is a phenomenal decrease in ionization energy of C to Si.
