Reason :

✿ Goa is located on the western

coast of India. It receives rainfall

from the Arabian sea branch of

SW monsoon while Puducherry is

is located on the eastern coast

and gets only 40cm of rainfall from

North East monsoon. Bay of Bengal

branch runs parallel to the SE coast

of India and thus, brings no rain to

Puducherry. So, Goa receives

heavier rainfall than Puducherry.
