Explanation:1. Aravalli mountain is situated parallel with the Arabian branch of s.w monsoon, so it can't create any obstacles against the monsoon wind so that orographic rainfall can be caused. And when monsoon reaches Rajasthan after crossing Aravalli mountain, it dies not have much water vapour to create rainfall. 2. Though Shimla and Nagpur are situated over the same latitude, Shimla is cooler than Nagpur because of it altitude, as we know that temperature decreases with increasing altitude at a rate of 6.4℃ per km .
