give reason
1) NaCl has more melting point than CCl4
2) CaCl2 has more boiling point than MgCl2
3) Molten(or) aqueous NaCl is good conductor but not solid NaCl
4) most of the ionic compound are solid
5) CaCl2 is soluble in water but not in kerosene

Answer:
1) it is because NaCl has an ionic bond
2)
3) it is bcoz in the molten or aqueous state there are free ions that can carry the current i.e. Na+ and Cl-
4) bcoz the attraction between the ionic bond is too strong 5) i think it is bcoz of the difference in density of water and kerosene ... not sure about this one
