Hey mate here is your answer....
1. Platypuses are not the only mammals that lay eggs. Mammals that lay eggs are called monotremes and include platypuses and echidnas, both of which live in Australia. Like all mammals, monotremes are warm-blooded, covered with fur and nurse their young.

Animals are so interesting because they don’t always follow the rules. Some mammals lay eggs; some snakes give birth to live young. Birds are in fact the only class of vertebrates that reproduce solely by laying eggs. Platypuses are certainly funny looking, with duck-like bills, tails like a beaver and webbed feet. Their legs come out on the sides like a reptile rather than from underneath.
2. Crocodiles have been classified as reptiles in spite of having four chambered heart because they have dry, non glandular skin, epidermal scales are also present. They are cold blooded, oviparous, etc. All these features are specific for reptiles, so crocodiles are reptiles.
3. Forelimbs of birds are modified into wings that help them to fly. These wings exert a downward force that helps the birds to lift up.

Hope this will help you...

Echidna and platypus belong to the order Monotremata of Mammalia. These are only egg laying mammals. Monotremes possess mammalian features. In addition to these features, they also possess some of the reptilian features. These are considered as primitive mammals with both mammalian and reptilian features.

Like reptiles, they lay eggs as reptiles. They also have cloaca, a single opening to pass out, urine, faeces, sperms or eggs. This is a reptilian feature.

Like mammals, monotremes are warm blooded animals whoce body is covered with fur. They also nourish their young ones with milk.
