- The height of the blood column is more at the feet than it is at the brain. Hence, the blood pressure at the feet is more than it is at the brain
- When the piston of a syringe placed in a liquid is pulled up, the pressure inside it becomes less than he atmospheric pressure acting on the liquid..as a result, the atmospheric pressure forces the liquid to rise in he syringe.. hope this helped.
