Answer:

1. Transportation of substances in living organisms                                          ANS:In most animals the blood that circulates in the body distributes food and oxygen to different cells of the body. It also carries waste products to different parts of the body for excretion. Circulatory system consists of the heart and blood vessels.

2. The heart gives away impure blood through an artery                              ANS: The reason is that the impure pumped away from heart so that is goes to kidney/lung for purification and then it comes again and then pumped to the rest of the body. So this thing is known as double circulation as the blood is pumped two times for a single beat

3. The colour of blood is red                                                                               ANS:Human blood is red because of the protein hemoglobin, which contains a red-colored compound called heme that's crucial for carrying oxygen through your bloodstream

4. We feel cool in summers while sweating                                                       ANS: sweat helps cool you down two ways. First, it makes your skin feel cooler when it's wet. And when it evaporates it removes some heat. But sweat will only evaporate in an environment where there isn't much water in the air

5, if plants do not get enough water they droop and wilt                                ANS: When plants don't receive enough water, their leaves begin to droop, or wilt. ... This is a defense mechanism, because shedding leaves helps a plant get rid of some surface area that would lose water to the atmosphere
