1)Blood brings oxygen and nutrients to all the parts of the body so they can keep working. Blood carries carbon dioxide and other waste materials to the lungs, kidneys, and digestive system to be removed from the body. Blood also fights infections, and carries hormones around the body.

2) The water kept in an earthen pot seeps into the small pores in the pot and evaporates from the surface of the pot. The heat required for evaporation is taken from water inside the pot, thus cooling the water stored inside. This is the reason why on hot summer days water remains cool in earthen pot.
