(A) carbon compounds have a low melting and boiling point because the inter molecular force of attraction is less.

(B) They don't conduct electricity because they don't give raise to any ions when dissolved in water.

A) carbon compounds generally do not have strong molecular attraction force , so less amount of heat is enough for them to break this force . So, carbon compounds have low melting and boiling point.

2.) carbon compounds are formed by covalent bonding . So, they are not formed by transfer of electrons. So, carbon compounds do not produce ions in their molten state. But, for conduction of electricity formation of ions is required. So, carbon compounds do no conduct electricity.
