Hey folk...
As we know that intermolecular spaces are highest in case of gases.
The molecules of gas keeps on colliding with each other and the walls of the container in which they are kept. Every particle exerts small force and the pressure exerted by the gas is due to the sum of all these collision forces.
The intensity of this pressure depends on the number of particals.
The suitable example which can explain this concept is bursting of balloon and tyres, bcoz when too much air is filled in these things, temprature rises and molecules hit the walls of their container harder and more often.
