  1. meristematic cells are continuously dividing cells so, they have a prominate nucleus and dence cytoplasam. but since these cells do not store food material or waste materials, they lack vacuole.
  2. intercellular spaces are absent in sclerenchymatous tissue because they have a cementing substance (known as ligin) around their cell membrane which makes them stiff and hard
  3. we get a crunchy and granular feeling, when we chew pear fruit because of prence of sclernchyma tissue. the sclernchyma are of two types fibers and sclereids. the sclerids gives a crunchy to pear fruite because it provides support and hardness the tissue.
