Acid rain has caused damaged to heritage structure such as Taj Mahal because some the this heritage & buildings are made of made up of marble (which is calcium carbonate) & when acid rain falls on it the acid reacts with this marble and damage the buildings or heritage. Acid rain is the main cause of yellowing Taj Mahal.
