Give reason

carbonate and sulphide ores are usually converted into oxides prior to reduction during the process of extraction..?

it is because extraction of metals is easy with oxide ores as compared to sulphide and carbonate ores.

blue coloured copper sulphate crystals changes to white colour becouse water is lost and copper sulphate penta hydrate gets converted to anhydrous copper sulphate.
